FAQ

Are there any additional fees or charges I should be aware of?
All guests need to be aware that payments made by either American Express will attract a merchant services surcharge of 1.8% and 3% for Diners Club cards  Alternative methods of payment are of course welcome.

Are there any shops near by?
Preston Street hosts a selection of restaurants, coffee shops, a bottle shop/tavern & a local supermarket and all are within a short 5 minute walk of the hotel.

Are there any buses that head into the CBD?
Buses run regularly into the CBD from the bus stop approximately 50m from the hotels entrance.

How far away is the CBD?
Approximately 7-10 minutes if driving, dependent on traffic. A bus trip may take between 15-20 minutes.

How much will a taxi to the CBD cost?
Approximately $15-$20.

How far away is the airport?
Approximately 15-20 minutes if driving, dependent on traffic.

How much will a taxi to the airport cost?
Approximately $30-$40.

Is Breakfast available?
Yes. Continental Breakfast Packs are available to purchase from the Guest Pantry. Alternatively, nearby Restaurants & Cafes offer breakfast. Please see our reception staff for further information.

What is the latest time I can check in?
Reception is staffed until 11pm & a late check in procedure is available to guests arriving outside of these hours. Please contact our staff to arrange any late checkins.

Is the Pool heated?
Yes – the pool is solar heated throughout summer & gas heated over the cooler months.

Is parking available?
Each apartment has one car bay available. Additional parking is available directly opposite the hotels reception & all parking is free of charge.

Is internet access available from the apartments?
Yes – Complimentary Wifi throughout the hotel is available for guest use. A laptop computer is available in reception for guest use.

Are late check-outs / early check-ins available?
Both late check-outs & early check-ins can be arranged, dependent on availability & are not guaranteed. Additional charges may apply.

Can food & beverage be charged back to the room account?
Yes – the On-site restaurant and some nearby dining alternatives provide chargeback facilities to room accounts, & guests are welcome to utilize this. Please contact reception for more information.

What time does the pool open/close?
The pool is opened from 7am & will be closed at 9pm sharp each evening.

Are BBQ facilities free to use?
Yes, no payment is required & bookings are not necessary.

Are Tennis facilities free to use?
Yes, no payment is required & bookings are not necessary.

Is the Zoo within walking distance?
Yes – it will take approximately 15 minutes to walk there from the hotel.

How much is admission into the Zoo?

Adult (Other than Seniors and Concessions) - $29.00

Children (4-15 Yrs Must be accompanied by an adult) - $14.00

Australian Concession (other than Seniors) - $22.00

Seniors (on presentation of government issued Aged Pension or Seniors Card) - $22.00
